In 2007, I discovered how important it was to me to commit to a daily creative habit. Living my life in an artfully expressive way is as important to me as breathing. So, with this commitment in mind, I was excited to join Leah Pilken’s challenge to be Creative Everyday. This is a low stress challenge to incorporate creativity into your life on a daily basis. When I woke up yesterday morning, I was completely wowed by the sunrise and moved to get creative with my camera. I love to be creative with my camera because it helps me focus (pun intended) on a unique and special moment that has moved me enough to capture it in a photograph. As I listed in a previous post, one of my goals for this year is to experiment with transfer methods so I may incorporate my photography into my artwork in some way, whether it be in my jewelry or in my mixed media work. In my sunrise photograph, I see a 4-color combination that I would love to incorporate into a piece of jewelry, too.
How are you creative everyday?
Art and Tea 
I find my creativity is brought out in games. I apply game theory in every aspect of my life, and it increases my curiosity, reasoning skills, and competitive nature. After a day working, I try to go surf, where playing on the waves is my own artist’s pallet.

I really enjoyed your blog and will stop back. Although my blog mostly consists of my trading activities, I add some creativity to the site by posting pictures from our extensive art collection, surfing pictures, and other stuff. There’s nothing worse than a really dry site devoted to the dullness of business. I like to spice things up.

Hello! I am trying to be more creative in my writing as well as with works of visual art. I am trying to spend more thoughtful time with my blog entries rather than just posting a picture and underneath writing “Me in Paris” or somesuch. So I am equating being more creative with being more deliberate and thoughtful. “Deliberate” is my word for 2008.
